Step back in time at the New Deal Festival on Saturday, July 11 to celebrate the unique history of Arthurdale with a day of food, arts & crafts, living history & more. Tour the historic community on a hay wagon ride, stop by the antique car & tractor show, see various artisan demonstrations.
Gates open at 10 a.m.
There will be a wonderful line-up of blues, country, & folk music that will be playing on the Center Hall front porch. You can also wander through the museum buildings to learn the history of Arthurdale, and of course no celebration would be complete without a visit from Eleanor Roosevelt.
The festival also features a petting zoo, several children’s activities, a craft market, horse-drawn wagon rides & much more.
Advance tickets are $6 for adults & $4 for children ages 6-12.
At the gate general admission is $8 and children $5-Children under 5 are free
